  • Family Therapist, Sandstone Care. Alexandria, VA (04.2024 – Present)

    The Family Therapist is supervised by the Program Director to implement and manage multi-family group for Intensive Outpatient programs and offer individual family sessions and parent consultations across three tiers of outpatient care. The Outpatient Family Therapist coordinates the treatment of families that are aligned with the clients primary treatment goals to employ evidence-based treatment modalities for clients struggling with mental health or a dual diagnosis. This role conducts trauma-informed experiential family sessions, multi-family group and individual family sessions at the outpatient center. Family therapist collaborates with the primary therapists in treatment formulation, bio-psycho-social assessment, symptom progress tracking, discharge planning, liaison care coordination and utilization review.

    Outpatient Therapist, NCG, Northern Virginia (04.2024 – Present)

    Under the general direction of the Site Director and primary oversight of an assigned Clinical Supervisor, the Outpatient Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy for clients three years of age and older. The therapist will work with clients and families/natural supports to assess their strengths and needs, determine the type(s) of treatment modalities needed, and then provide those services directly. Duties include providing initial and ongoing clinical assessment, psycho-education about mental health diagnoses and treatment, maintaining oversight of services provided within and outside NCG, and develop & evaluate the individual service plans with the client and family to ensure that services being delivered are appropriate to the needs of the client and family/natural supports.

    Multisystemic Therapist. NCG, Northern Virginia (08.2023 – 03.2024)

    Post-graduate residency program. Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is an evidence-based intensive in-home family service and comprehensive treatment program designed to serve 11- to 17-year-old, multi-problem youth in their community at risk of escalating to a higher level of care due to disruptive behaviors or substance use. Multisystemic therapy works within the youth's ecology and family system to reinforce change behaviors.

    Group Facilitator. Social Services University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital Harvey, IL (06.2022 – 08.2023)

    Contracted through allied health partner Synergy Behavioral Health, the Psychiatry Inpatient Group Facilitator provides group sessions for all adult patients. As a treatment team member, the Group Facilitator works collaboratively with the treatment team and documents progress toward individualized treatment plan goals through group session notes. The Group Facilitator assists patients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs through the administration of art-based group sessions, psychoeducation workshops on psychotropic medication, wellness, and skill training.

    Psychodynamic Therapist. The Kedzie Center. Chicago, IL (08.2022 – 05.2023)

    Clinical Internship with emphasis on psychodynamic community health for adolescents and young adults. Complete assessment and design individualized treatment plans: complete training requirements and case presentations. Participate in therapy team clinical consult with staff. Develop integrative art training for staff and provide psychoeducation and consultation.

    Child and Family Therapist. Children's Research Triangle. Chicago, IL (08.2021 – 06.2022)

    Clinical internship with emphasis on psychodynamic approaches for children and parents. Complete assessment and design individualized treatment plan. Manage a caseload of 10 clients. Complete specialized training on counseling approaches and case presentations. Present in therapy team clinical consult for staff.
